Most trucks will not require any “reflash” or “reprogram” of the factory systems caused by installing a lift and larger tires. In a few cases like later model RAM 1500 trucks with air-ride suspension, a trip to the dealership after installing the lift may be necessary to reset the system. There are programmers on the market that can be used to calibrate for larger tire size, change gear ratios, transmission shift points and add engine performance, but that would be an optional accessory.
Will I need to reprogram my truck after lifting it?
