How do I submit a warranty claim?
You can email photos of the issue, along with your proof of purchase, to Tech-BDS@ridefox.com. You can also call Technical Support at 517-279-2135 Option 2. Proof of purchase is required for all warranties -
Where can I find the instructions?
You can find kit instructions on the specific kit you have, by searching for the SKU of your kit. You can find a link to the PDF instruction sheets in the Installation Section on the product page. We currently are working on an instruction library for this new site. -
Are any specialty tools needed to install lift kits?
Every kit is a little bit different. Some special tools may be required depending on the vehicle and kit being installed. If they are required, specifics will be listed in the beginning of the instructions for that specific kit -
How hard is it to install a lift kit, can I do it myself?
This will depend on your mechanical abilities. Some kits are more difficult than others, but you can read through instructions ahead of time and decide if you feel comfortable doing the installation. What grease should I use (poly bushings, rubber bushings, ball joints, quicker disconnects, hiems)?
Rubber bushings do not require grease and are maintenance free! All other BDS bushings should be lubricated with a silicone based grease -
Why doesn’t BDS offer a taller kit for my vehicle?
BDS only produces kits that pass FMVSS testing and taller kits are not as likely to pass this scrutinous testing. Because of this, we stick to moderate lift heights that we know will maintain all factory safety systems functions -
Can I stretch my BDS lift kit?
BDS does not recommend changing lift heights outside of the engineered heights they are designed for. That said, customers do customize their vehicle in many ways, including stretching kits, but this is not suggested or approved by BDS -
Do BDS lift kits come with a warranty?

Does a lift kit void my factory warranty?
No, installing a lift kit does not void your factory warranty. The Magnusson V. Moss warranty act protects consumers from this -
Can my FOX coilovers be adjusted and/or revalved?
Fox Coilovers are adjustable by nature, but whether they should be adjusted requires looking at the full suspension system limitations, not just the coilover. What is DSC and how do I adjust it?

Are shocks serviceable/rebuildable?
BDS NX2 series shocks are not serviceable, but FOX Series shocks can be serviced and rebuilt. -
What is the service interval for FOX shocks?
